Wine Cellar at Funken Lodge
Tucked away in the historic walls of Funken Lodge lies a wine cellar steeped in character and charm.
Once part of the building's original use as staff housing for the coal mining company SNSK, the basement corridor doubled as a sauna, a laundry room, and even an indoor shooting range. Today, it serves a far more refined purpose.
Our wine cellar now houses a world-class vintage collection that is both deep and diverse, with an ever-growing range of vintages from iconic wine regions, including Bordeaux, XXX and XXX. From hidden gems to prestigious estates, this cellar is a treasure trove for the curious and the connoisseur alike.

We invite you to explore these treasures during a bespoke private wine tasting, curated in collaboration with our knowledgeable sommelier. Sample a selection of wines from our collection, paired with five exquisite canapés, in an intimate setting designed to inspire, educate, and delight.
Price: From NOK 1290, - per person
Duration: Tasting is available from 17:00, and usually lasts 1 hour.
Capacity: Between 4 and 10 guests.
Booking: Bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to the event.
Larger groups can be booked on request, but please note that the tasting will take place in another room at Funken Lodge.
